So, funny story. UPDATED

My life hasn't been as un-enventful lately. You can probably tell because I haven't blogged in over a week. Very unlike me.

I learned last week at church in my home ward just how many people read my blog. So that was interesting. Made me hope I haven't put anything too embarrassing on here. :P

This post will be about a few funny stories of the last week.

first one was at work.

I was giving the person on the express lane a break {as in I took over their register so they could go chill in the break room or do whatever} and I ring this lady up and then she pulls out 5 100 dollar bills. and she gave them to me!!! JOKE! she totally didn't. that would have been cool though. No, she asked me if I could give her 500 1 dollar bills for them. I literally laughed out loud because lets be honest, I thought she was joking! But she got mad at me for laughing at her! And then she was upset when I told her I didn't have that many.

I have a question for you.

How many 1 dollar bills do you think I have in my till?

A- 13
B-25
C- 56
D- 70

Okay, if you answered B or C you'd be closest. I usually don't ever have more than 56. most of the time it's probably around 30.
I don't know why she thought I had 500 1's.... but, no, I don't. It was slightly entertaining.

After Betsy's bridal shower, chowing down.

Next- the story of Lauren putting oil in her car. so it's not really that funny of a story, but kind of. We were in Logan, for Betsy's bridal shower and her car says 15% oil. Or something like that. So we end up going to walmart and getting oil to put in it. the best part was that she wanted me to photograph the whole thing. So I did. Sara was helpful in holding the lid of the oil. It was a success too. At least I think. I mean, we made it home fine. So obviously the oil went in the right place.

Man, sometimes we do such manly things! We rock!
Also, this one time I totally changed my blinker light bulb all by myself with my dad's instructions. But that was a random side note.

Next story- Last night, Glen {remember this, and this, and this? yeah, that same Glen.} and I went out on a little date to Salt Lake. It was a blast and a half. I'm not blogging about that whole thing, at least right now {because we did a lot of stuffs}, just a particularly funny story from it.

As part of the night we went to this concert. I enjoyed it, I think he did to. We were going out of the building and were taking a picture of ourselves and then he asked this lady if she'd take our picture for us. So this lady takes one

{flash on, because its dark} and she looks at it and says "oh, you guys need a better one. So you can see the temple in the back" So she proceeds to turn the flash off. {in my head I'm thinking, that's not going to work, it's too dark} so she takes another one after I help her turn the flash off, playing along.

Called it, blurry. lady says, "Oh! I can't hold still enough I guess. Do you have a night time mode? You guys are so cute, you need a good one!" {I think to myself, night time mode still isn't going to work, but this is funny, most people aren't this dedicated to getting a picture for a random couple.} So she takes another one in night mode.

still blurry. she says, "Let me try that one, one more time." So Glen and I smile again, but they were like real real smiles cause we were kind of laughing. Too bad you can't see them very well.

you can kind of see our extra reals smiles...

So that one was blurry too. And then she decides that the flash was the best option after all {which is why I had it on that setting in the first place hahahaha.} and she decides that even though she already did one on flash, she'd do one more.

So we got our last and final picture. i'm pretty sure she would have taken another one, but I reassured her I knew how to use photoshop so I could lighten the temple to make it work. {which i wasn't really planning on,} but just to make the series complete, I did a quick job of it. So, the final product of a few minutes of Glen and I getting our pictures taken from this really nice and concerned lady-

It doesn't look good lightened.... but, at least you
can see the temple more like the lady was so concerned about!

It was kind of awesome. Glen and I walked away smiling and laughing about the situation. I enjoyed it immensely.

Next, and final. Tonight at dinner, we had chocolate milk. Gemma kept reaching for the food and dad dipped his finger in the chocolate milk and let her try it! Ash says that everything else they've let her just take a taste of she didn't like at all. No, she LOVED the chocolate milk! she pretty much attacked it! So he gave her a little more. and a little more. and she kept grabbing his cup and was sucking on the cup! Ash finally said no more and she cried when she couldn't get anymore. Nathan said they're going to start putting nesquick powder in her formula. haha. Ash didn't think it was funny though. So, Dad was right, Gemma's going to love chocolate milk.
She recorded it on her phone, but I don't have that video. But, I do have a video of another darling thing Gemma is doing now.

Enjoy.

UPDATED!!! Ash sent me the video and pictures.

Fear of- work, football, editing pictures, and Einstein....

Reality of Fear
You're not afraid of the dark-You're afraid of what's in it.
You're not afraid of heights- You're afraid of falling.
You're not afraid of people around you- You're afraid of rejection.
You're not afraid to love-You're afraid of not being loved back.
You're not afraid of to let go- You're afraid to accept the reality that they are really gone.
You're not afraid to try again- You're afraid of getting hurt for the same reason.

A friend of mine had this on her blog. I've never thought of fear this way before. It kind of surprises me how true it is too.

I guess when it comes down to it, you just have to have faith that you can do hard things that you fear.

This is the time in my blog where I take a few sentences paragraphs to complain for a bit. Because I'm certainly not perfect and am in a complaining mood. Okay, so it's not really that bad, just a little.

You guys, I'm kind of bored a lot these days. You see, I just got back from vacation where I just got to have fun all the time and didn't really worry about anything. And now, this is what my day consists of- wake up. put some make up on and do my hairs {which Is still fantastic to me that I can do this unlike on my trip!} then I probably edit a lot of pictures. {which in case any of you were wondering.... I finished editing a wedding I did! woohoo!} and then I probably do some dishes or help clean some part of the house. Then I beg ashleigh to let me go over to her house So I have something to do and also so I snuggle with my baby niece. Ashleigh's response to me always at her place, "you seriously need a boyfriend" Thanks Ash. And then I maybe go to work if I'm lucky enough to go to work that day to make some money. And then I may watch about Einstein on the history channel because I was that bored. Don't judge.
So, I need more friends here in Orem. All of mine are A-In logan, B- at their house for the summer, C- too busy working, or D- getting married/are married. So, if anyone else is in this same bored summer predicament, give me a call. I'd more than gladly do something with you. Even if we're not even that close of friends. Even if you're a stranger {as long as you're not a strange, stranger. :P}

I don't really like work these days. My first few days back were kind of rough....
not that it's hard work, or that I forgot how to do my job, or even that I forgot all the produce codes {because i remember produce codes like it's nobodies business!}. It's just every time I go to work, it reminds me why I'm going to college, So I don't have to do this job the rest of my life. Because it's not rewarding at all; it doesn't make me happy. Well, I'm rewarded with sore feet. It's just not my cup of tea can of Dr. Pepper, the grocery business that is. But I do love some of the people I work with. And some of the costumers are quite hilarious. And who wouldn't love wearing black shoes, black pants, black shirt, black apron, black everything? I mean, Gothic is the new "in", right now, right? ;)

I miss my logan friends. Living in an apartment complex with kids my age and activities always going on. I miss my school. Aggie athletic games. My student ward. etc.

This is all. I'm done now. And really am grateful to be at home where it's free rent and free food and that I get to see my cute little Gemma bear nearly every day. :D

Also, can someone please explain to me why men play football?? My brother is the middle of "hell week" {I think... maybe that's next week?} Regardless, he has practices 2 times a day and without a doubt, he comes home with a new injury every time. He had a nail ripped off, bruised ribbs, ankle problems, something with his arms, and ice packs all over his body. And he says he's never been more sore in his life..... And yet, he goes back every day. twice a day. just to come home and get more ice and lay moaning and stinking up the house... I don't get it. It must be a guy thing. I just don't understand why people put themselves through something they know is going to cause them physical pain and injury... To each his own I guess.

Best news of my life time!!!!!!

I GET TO SEE MY BEST FRIEND IN ALL THE WORLD ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!! I haven't seen her in 2.5 months! A record since we've been best friends. And my lucky stars do I miss her soooooooo much! World, prepare yourselves, it's going to be epic. I can't even wait.

I'm done for reals this time.

The 11 pounds that stole my heart

You know how in nearly every post while I was in Europe I would always tell you I couldn't wait to see my darling baby niece, Gemma?? Well, I have seen her every day since I got home a week ago, and I seriously am even more in love with her than before.

She learned how to roll over a few days ago and it's funny to watch her try to untuck her arm so she's not laying on it. sometimes she gets frustrated because she can't get it out from underneath her fast.

I had no idea that she became a full on drool machine while I was gone. She doesn't spit up much, but there is a constant trail of saliva falling from her mouth at nearly all times.

She loves to chew/suck really loudly on her whole fists.

she loves to blow bubbles.

When someone makes her smile, she becomes shy. she'll throw her head down or burry it into your shirt  and try to hide her tooth-less smile. It's darling.

When she's hungry, she's H U N G R Y!! And boy does she have a set of lungs to scream at you if you're not fast enough to get her bottle ready.

She fights taking naps now. She doesn't want to miss anything so she won't go to sleep easy. {at least for me}

She loves to watch TV. She just stares at it constantly. It was funny, a few days ago I was watching the olympic trials for swimming and she was laying on her back on the floor watching too and she was kicking her legs like crazy. She'll probably be a swimmer one day.

She's pretty much the most loved baby of all time. probably because she's the first, but everyone in the family is always trying to take her away from everyone else so they can hold her. Dad's the worst. He's the biggest baby hog ever. Gemma loves her grandpa though.

She's acquiring some {shiny} bald spots on her head. It makes all the boy babies think she's an even bigger babe.

She actually keeps her headbands on. I've never seen her try to take it off. Probably because ashleigh's put one on her every day since she came out of the womb.

she's good at pulling my hair.

she's a good snuggler still. Although I wish I could have taken a few more naps with her sleeping on my chest as a newborn though. That was amazing.

She laughs a lot at Quinton. The other day mom brought Gemma into his room to make him wake up and she left her there so he couldn't fall back asleep. Well Quinton sat her on his stomach and she watched him make dumb faces and stupid noises and laughed her cute little head off at him for more than 20 minutes. It was adorable to watch this. He'll make a good daddy one day.

She's been little Miss Cranky Pants a lot lately. Ashleigh thinks she's teething. Which would make sense since she chews on everything she can get her hands on.

She likes to rip paper towels and napkins.

She has this funny sound she makes when you tickle her. Like she's not sure if she should laugh or cry. It's like a grunt.

She has a sound that is her I want to cry but i'm going to laugh instead sound. Different than the tickle sound. this one reminds me of a sound my grandpa Cobb makes that we all make fun of him for.

She has a "poop face". We all know when she's pooping cause she makes a very particular face.

All of her outfits are soaked in a few minutes from her drool. And wiping the constant drool from her face is a full time job in itself. Especially when she just tries to eat the burp cloth you're trying to wipe her face off with.

She can launch a pacifier out of her mouth like it's nobodies business. She likes to take her pacifier out of her mouth with her hand and then cry cause it's no longer in her mouth. It becomes a game almost.

yesterday she ate 6 ounces of milk and then kept crying cause she was still hungry {which normally this is all she eats} and so I made her 4 more and she drank all of it. She had the biggest Gemma food baby belly of life. And I'm pretty sure she felt for her first time what it was like to be uncomfortably full because that child didn't want to move for an hour. and normally she doesn't ever stay still.

She makes the cutest expressions with her eyebrows {that are barely visible}.

You guys, being an aunt is my favorite thing in the whole world. I don't know how to be unhappy when my little Gemma bear is here! She makes everyone smile and laugh and she brings so much joy and happiness to everyone in the family. I'm so glad to be a part of her life and to get to watch her grow up.
It's still crazy to me that my sister, 14 months my senior, is married and has a baby!!  It still seems surreal to me when I think about it sometimes. It seems like just the other day {that phrase is for you Lindy} we were being mommies playing with our dolls. And now she's a real mom to a real baby! And it's so much better than pretend!

Gee whiz I love that child.

I'm going to write a 4th of july post next. with pictures of all the cute decorations I made. :D

Why do people do things that hurt them?

I came home from work today and cried.
Not because I was hurt physically, not because anything had been done to me personally, but I hurt spiritually. Not because I had done anything, but because I have a tender heart and I don't know how to not hurt, when others are struggling. Especially people close to me.

One of my work friends, when she was younger, was into drugs. She cleaned her life up and I ended up taking her baby boy's newborn pictures Like 2 years ago. I hadn't seen her in a while but she came through my line today and looked awful. No one else was in my line and I talked to her for a few minutes and she told me about how she had messed up and that her kids were taken away from her. My heart literally hurt for her. She knew she had messed up and I cannot imagine what pains she's feeling right now. I feel for her. And it breaks my heart to see people do things that mess their lives up. People that have good lives and they throw it away for what they want in the moment. She said she's doing better now and I sincerely hope she is. It broke my heart and I'm praying for her and her family.

And this didn't even come close to the feeling of what another friend's doing. Because I know/knew him better than the girl from work. And I cared/care a lot about him; he knew me better than almost any other person ever has. I can't describe the feeling that what he's doing gives me. It goes far beyond any spiritual pain I've ever felt before and I'm not even going through the trials he is. I feel sad for him but will never leave him out of my daily prayers. I hope he can feel them once in a while.

I was talking to my wonderful parents tonight about how pathetic I am for crying my face off tonight because of other people's trials. My dad told me that I was a wonderful person for caring so much. My mom told me it was a Christ-like attribute.

All I know is sometimes I wish I could just not care. To let it go and let people do whatever they are doing and not care so it never got me down. But as I think about that last sentence, I know that is a big part of who I am. I wouldn't know who I was if I didn't value other's happiness. Is overly caring bad? I think it might be.

Regardless, I hope everyone {let's be honest, we all have problems} realizes that even when they do things that aren't right, there's always a way back. Christ will open up his arms to anyone who is willing to seek him out. I want everyone to know that I believe that. There's only artificial happiness out of doing what's wrong; true happiness is only in doing what is right.

And to end on a non-serious note, my niece is the cutest thing in the entire world. I guess that was kind of serious though because I was being serious.

here's a video and picture to prove it-
This is her ripping a paper towel. Glad Ash got some of it on video. :D

look at those thighs!! I love her! All 12 pounds of her.

okay, so 2 pictures. I couldn't choose. Quinton took these. I still need to teach him how to compose a picture better. 90% of the pictures he took, half of my face is cut off and Gemma is centered. haha.

She doesn't suck on her fingers, she CHEWS on them.

I'm so glad she's still so little. It makes me feel like I didn't miss all that much while I was gone. Being an aunt is my favorite thing. :)

seriously missing

I'm seriously missing this face right now.

Ash sent me this one a few days ago. She looks
SO SO much like pictures of Ash as a baby.
Stinkin' cute.
how could anyone not love her?? She's beautiful!
I don't know if you know this or not, but i kind of sorta love her.... just a little. ;)

I have some good news for you guys. {and girls}
I'm all the way done with going to classes this semester!!!
All that's left till i leave for europe-
  • 11 days
  • art history final {most un-looked forward to event of the semester}
  • Take home photo history final {which was going to be the hardest final until my professor decided he loved us and didn't want to kill us with a non-take home one}
  • A photo shoot I have yet to start for half of my altered optics photo class...... yikes. I'm going to do this as soon as I'm done blogging.... I promise....
  • the printing of all the images for my 2 photo classes. {luckily their all digital other wise i'd be living in the darkroom for the next 72 hours straight}
  • a dumb dumb dumb public speaking quiz that I don't want to take because she's making us go to class during our final time {the LAST day of finals week} to get a stupid code to take a 12 question quiz that has to be done on our own time. Which is absolutely ridiculous seeing as how it's only open for a few hours on the LAST day of finals week. If we have to take the quiz online, why can't she let us do it whenever we have time during finals week. *end rant* I might just not take it.
  • Put my portfolios together
  • study a ton for art history final. So glad to be done with both halves of the survey after tuesday!
  • edit a wedding {i'm nearly done editing the reception}
  • shoot a wedding
  • go to Gemma Petrea's baby blessing. :D
  • pack for Europe and fit all of my stuff for 2 months into a carry-on size bag.... this will be interesante....Because everyone knows how bad I am at packing light.
  • write a project outline and description for what I plan on doing in Europe.
  • make my hands look and feel like a woman's again. They hurt so bad. I should have worn gloves the whole time mixing chemicals on Monday. On wednesday, 3 of my fingers started bleeding from being so dry and damaged. {I didn't notice it until i saw a big red blob on my shirt. :( and then I went to a bathroom to try and wash it out and I noticed it was on my face too. I guess i touched my hand with it and blood was on my cheek! Then I wanted to crawl into a dark corner hoping no one saw my embarrassing moment of life. my life is filled with highly awkward situations.} regardless, my hands have trials. We need to work on loving each other more.
  • pack my life up and move it home to Orem.
  • dreaded clean checks.
  • party hearty
  • party like a rock star
  • party like it's 1999
  • party like there's no tomorrow
  • party all night long
  • ride in the dryers. {because i haven't done this the whole year!!!}
  • oh, and laundry. {which is similar to partying like a rock star, right?}

In other news, I'm the proud owner of this super hot swimsuit. I'm stoked beyond belief. I have always wanted a 1 strap {so it's technically 2, but the one is super skinny and can come off if i want it to} swimsuit with frills! I'm going to look stylin' on the beaches of italy and greece! :D
Also, in case you were wondering,
 this is not me modeling the swimsuit.... :P
And now..... I shall go miraculously start and finish my altered optics photo portfolio in a one hour photo shoot....hahahahahahaha.....don't tell my professor....

but first, a funny story. Ash called me yesterday while I was taking a nap {it was a miracle! I haven't taken a nap in eons.} and So I called her back when I woke up. She answered and said, "I'm making out with my husband. I'll call you back." hahahaha. It was hilarious!
Just so you know, if I'm ever making out and someone calls me, rest assured that I wouldn't answer.

XOxo

I almost forgot!! 9 months from today is my birthday!!!

Makes me.....

You know how I have a little itty bitty cute niece? I'm not sure if I've talked about her much.... :P

All this about babies makes me want one.  Not that I could have one. Because you sort of need a husband, and last time I checked I didn't have one of those. Yep, I don't.

It makes me want to live closer. I can't get enough of that little girl.

Grandpa Cobb called me last night. Our conversation went as followed-
"Hey, guess what I'm doing?"-gpa
"......throwing a partay?" -me
"I'm babysitting!!"-gpa
"Gemma???1?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"-Me
"yeah!"-gpa
"jealous!!"-Me
"I knew you would be. That's why I called."-Gpa
*sounds of jealousy*
"Well talk to you later, I'm going to keep holding my great-granddaughter"
"b..."
*hangs up phone*
"...bye...."

Isn't he a bum? haha.

Today is Easters. and I didn't get to go home. But don't even worry about it because mom let me talk to little Gemma on the phone. She was hungry {is Ash even feeding her?... Cause I swear that child is always hungry when I'm talking to someone around her} and so she was whining and making sounds. And It completely made my day. I reminded her how incredibly beautiful she is. For the record, I'm going to guess that she will have brown eyes. So, let it be known that that's my guess.

Editing Pictures makes me want a desktop computer. Because my pinky hurst for editing too long on a laptop. I know, random, but that is a true story.

Random story time-
I took a few pictures of my friend, Kyle, {who happens to be the best friend of my best friend's boyfriend's doctor's sister-in-law's cousin from kentucky } cause he won some pretty snazzy award thing and needed a picture for his bio for this black tie dinner {so i made up the black tie part but you get the picture}. Anyway, he was wearing one of those breast cancer awareness bracelets and I had him take it off, put it on my wrist and then forgot to give it back to him. I noticed it, and figured I'd give it back to him later. Well, the day goes on and keep smelling this boy smell. like I'd rub my eye and then this whiff of boy cologne filled my nose, or I'd just put my hand close to my face and smell it too. I could not figure out why all of sudden I went from smelling like fruit and flowers to boy. Well, finally I was talking about it to Betsy and she was pretty smart and recommend I smell the bracelet. And that my friends, is how a girl can smell like a boy without knowing it. And just to clear this up, this boy smell wasn't bad, it just didn't smell like me. It smelt like boy. And as much as I love a good smelling man, I don't {usually} like smelling like one.
But, do you want to hear another funny story? you kinda do, huh?
before I gave it back, I sprayed girl perfume on it so he'd smell like a girl. bahahahahaha. I'm clever. Laugh, it was funny.

Well, In case you're not sick of seeing pictures of this little angel, click here and here
I took those pictorals on Friday. I didn't want them to leave. I won't see her for nearly 2 weeks! :(

And, just in case any of you {males} that read this would like to know about and attend, some of my girl friends and I are going to put on a class on how women should and should not be treated. ya know, just to better the world and society for the greater good.

And, when I have sons, {not that I will because girls are kind of what my family is good at producing} They are going to be the most chivalrous individuals ever.

this is all. :D

Things I've discovered in the past 24 hours.

the past day has been incredible. I have discovered a lot.

  • That baby feet are truly the cutest things there ever was.

The story of my niece {with the cutest name there ever was}. As told by her favorite aunt.

Where should I start?
The beginning is always a good place to start.

May 2009- Ashleigh graduated from high school. I told her I wanted 2 things from her: For her to get married and give me a baby niece {not a nephew for we both want to name our first sons James}

May 2010- I graduate from high school. And I keep telling her I want the same thing.

Summer 2010- She develops little crush on her boss, Nathan.

fall 2010- this crush turns into a relationship.

January 2011- Ashleigh gets engaged and the first part of my wish is coming true

March 2011- Ash and Nathan wed in the salt lake city, LDS, Temple.

april-september- wishing ash would tell us she was pregnant.

August- the big announcement that they're having a baby

november- Find out that it's indeed a girl. none of this nephew nonsense.

March- march comes and goes. No baby.

April 1- I have to go back home to Logan.

April 2-

I wake up, feel refreshed. No sign of baby. I'm in my room getting dressed to head to my first class.

10:07 am- ring ring. it's ash. I have a mini heart attack. "hello?"  "are you ready to be an aunt?" She tells me she's at the hospital and my niece will be here by dinner. {she was at a 4}

10:26- schedule the studio at school for friday to do her pictures.

11:05- leave Logan. Drive like a maniac. never driven so fast in my whole life.

12:55- I arrive at the hospital. Go see ash and nathan. I document the room and the nurse checks her. she went from a 5 to an 8 in half an hour!

1:48- rest of the family get here. They all talk to her.

2:10- we all leave the room.

2:10 - Nurse comes to check her. She's a 10!!

2:22 pm. 3 nurses run into room 4. "this baby's coming!" the doctor wasn't even in the room. he was chillin at the nurse's station. what the heck, doctor? this is my sister!! can you please go make sure she's okay??????

2:24 pm. grandpa cobb looks incredibly nervous. he has a completely blank expression on his face just looking down the hall.

2:25- she's crowning. nurse is giggling on the phone telling the doctor he should get in there.

2:31-nurse on the phone says they're telling her not to push.

2:36-Doctor went into her room.

2:37- she was born. After 1 push! the nurse said "she was meant to have babies.  She shot that baby out!"

2:40- I am writing this and am sooooo incredibly anxious!!

2:45- make baby weight guesses-

me- 7 11
Quinton- {between 6 and 12 pounds was what he said first} his real guess- 7 15
mom- 8 2
dad- 7 12
grandpa- 7 8
emilie- 7 7
grandma- 7 5.5

her real weight 6 pounds 13 ounces. 19 inches. We all over guessed. She's a little petite thing.

Gemma Petrea {puh tray uh} Nye.

3:15 ish we got to go see her for the first time.

yes, I cried. She was blowing bubbles and kept sticking her tongue out. sooo cute!!

My lucky stars this little girl stole my heart. I knew she would. But it's hard to imagine that she's here. I've been waiting my whole entire life for ash to have a baby! And she's cute too!

Well a little later. probably around 4:15 they brought her to the nursery and she was tortured! the poor thing had to get a shot in her little tiny thigh! and her foot pricked! and she screamed her tiny lungs out! And I wanted to cry too! And then when i thought it was over they gave her a total scrub down. And she hated that too. It was not fun to watch through the window.

Then. Finally. I got to hold her!!

I finally, at last, got to hold this tiny angel who just came straight from heaven! And she looked right at me.

look at her cute lil hairs! :D
she is a really really alert baby. she hasn't slept at all yet! she was looking around the whole time and trying to eat her hand and anything that came in contact with her mouth.

And then we said goodbye so mamma ashleigh could feed her. And don't you worry, I'll put some more pictures up later. :D

but here's one more, just for fun.

First family picture. Gemma is less than an hour old.

I have 8 children......

So, a blog I creep on from time to time did this, I thought i'd try it too.

Age: 20! woo! no longer a teen.
Bedsize: twin. I've always found it weird that it's called that. 2 people normally don't share this size of bed.... And i've never met twins out of toddler hood that share a bed either. Can someone explain to me why it's called this? One day I will own biiiig bed. With even more fluffy, comfy pillows than I do now.
Chores that you hate: Bathtub scrubbing, and the kitchen floor.
Chores that you like: laundry. It's refreshing. But what i don't like- stupid quarter feed laundry machines. I can't wait to own my own washing machine and dryer!
Dogs: My 9 year old puppy, Kandi. She's a psycho dog. But she's a cutie.
Essential start to your day: a literal run to the bathroom.

Essential end to your day: shower, brush teeth, take contacts out, write in journal, read scriptures, pray. It's a time consuming thing, going to bed.
Favorite color: Orange! booya! I plan on owning an tangerine orange kitchen aid mixer one day. As in end of this summer. {at the very latest, when i get wed.}
Gold or Silver: Silver. Gold looks pretty on blondes, and I haven't been blonde since my hair decided it wanted to change to dark brown in junior high.
Height: 5'-4 3/4". I am short, therefore ever 3/4 of an inch count. I never made it to my goal heigh of 5' 4". :(
Instruments you play: Piano. kazoo. I could probably still play twinkle twinkle little star on my violin. And... I have recently learned how to whistle.

Job title: Photographer, student, BFF, in summer-cashier, etc.
Kids: 8. Surprise! JUST KIDDING, April fools. hehe. I don't have any. But, i do have 2 nieces. Caitlin is 9 and the one in ashleigh's uterus should have been here 5 days ago. I can see that she's going to have a mind of her own. This should be exciting! Also, one day I plan on having 4-6 childrens.
Live: In logan presently. but have lived in- Louisiana, california, washington, and Orem utah.  And this summer i'll live in Europe for 2 months.
Mother's Name: Melissa. or mom. or mother dearest.
Father's name: Dean. Or dad. daddy o. or padre. or big bud.
Nicknames: I struggle in this department. Brianna doesn't have any cool nick names. Some people call me bri. ooh! and Kevin once called me BriNickDicker. But i don't have any fun inside joke nick names. It's a thing on my wish list of life.
Overnight hospital stays: When I was birthed.
Pet peeves: That every mormon wife/mother thinks they're a photographer. Don't get me started.
Quote from a movie or tv show: "eets okay. I make lamb" "but he's so handsome and rugged and chiseled and great" "he's on the phone, at dad's. bye dad!" "and then.... we can snuggle!" there are faaaaar too many quotes from movies.
Right or Lefty: I prefer my right hand to write with, Cause my left hand is incompetent at legibility. But if we're just talking about what hand is prettier, it'd probably be my left hand. Also, to add to your gee whiz collection, i give you, the story of how I learned to tell what hand was left and right- I think I was a slightly dyslexic child cause the whole hold your thumb and pointer finger up to see what one made an L for left thing never ever worked for me. So, I came up with my own. I have this ginormous burn scar {that until I tell people, they think it's a birth mark} on my right arm. b-u-r-n has an "r" in it, no "l", therefore, it's my right arm. Sometimes I still have to think about it.... don't judge.
Siblings: I have some of those. big sis {with husband and child}, ash.  little bro, Q.  little sis, ems.
Time you wake up: umm.... depends on the day and what time i have class or if i'm lazy. between 7:30 and 9, mostly.
Underwear: i haz it.
Vegetable you hate: I don't think I hate any. We'll change this to...
Fruit you hate- Bananas. sick. o. riffic.
What makes you run late: If I shower in the morning, Blow drying my hair is a beast. My hairs don't dry fast. They like to be wet. Which is why I shower at night. then it dries while I sleep.... well mostly dries. Also, fun fact about Brianna- I'm not one of those lucky girls that only has to wash their hairs every 3 days. If I don't wash my hairs everyday, I resemble a homeless person.
X-Rays You've Had: I had one of my stomach once. And was forced to drink this nasty chalk flavored drink thing. I think that's the only one i've had. I guess I'm not adventurous enough to break my bones. that or they're extra strong 'cause i drink lots of milk. :D
Yummy food you make: all foods, dang it! This is why i'm not thin.
Zoo Animal: What is this asking? What zoo animal am I most like? No idea. Fav zoo animal- the penguins chasing away the birds that would fly into their area. Least fav zoo animal- any of the nasty bug display things. like cockroaches. Who displays cockroaches??
wanna play along? Do it, bandy! {name this... youtube video.}

and I have a quick funny story from last night. I was at the mall With mom, grandma, ash, and em. We were sitting in the food court eating ice cream cones and my grandma get's really excited and starts pointing frantically. "Brianna! quick! look!!" I turn around real fast. "That guy!" me, still looking and finally find the guy i think she's talking about {priesthood session just let out so there were a ton of guys in suits} but don't really see why I should be looking at him, he's walking away and can only see his back. "oh man! I wish you could have seen his face! He's attractive! You should go see him" I'm pretty sure she wanted me to go stalk the guy and marry him! I was laughing and she said "well, you're not paying attention so I have to find the attractive guys for you!" haha great, Even my grandma thinks I need help in this department.
