The words that went with the pictures from Potsdam.

Last post was mostly just pictures of Potsdam, Germany.

This place was…. Incredible. I’m pretty sure there are no words in the English language that can mean what I want them to mean about that place.

I was getting really sick of Berlin. It smells bad, it’s huge, it’s cramped, It’s dirty, the pace is fast, and there were a lot of things that I didn’t really care to see. When you hear people talking about the world becoming more wicked, I'm pretty sure they were talking about this city. when I got the chance to leave the city for the day I jumped at the opportunity. You see, 12 days in Berlin was 8 days too long. I could have spent at least 3 more in Potsdam and would have thought I was in heaven.

In fact, I’m pretty sure heaven will resemble this place. There were so many gardens, so much manicured landscape, so many water fountains, so many gorgeous palaces, windmills, statues, rococo style art and décor, so much to see. So much history. So much to love. So NOT enough time to see it all.

I literally thought that, once again, I was in a movie. Or book.  Jane Austen must have written her stories with this type of place in mind. I swore Mr Darcy was going to come down the street in a carriage and I was going to witness a famous, classic romance first hand.

We left Berlin with the knowledge that that it would probably rain in Potsdam that day, and yet we went anyways, hopeful that we would still manage to take some good pictures. And it was perfect. The light was even. In other words, perfect for taking pictures for. It rained lightly every once in a while throughout the day and it was magical. It added a ton to the experience as whole.

You know how sometimes you’re living life and you think, “it can’t get better than this!” and then somehow, it does? This was one of those times. Here I was in the most beautiful place I’ve ever been, with 3 really fun girls, seeing a place that in my mind looks exactly how I had imagined Europe looking, thinking “it can’t get better than this right now” and then it started to rain. And I swear, this rain let every plant and flower release a delicious smelling perfume into the air and then I really thought it could never get better. And then it did again. All the different palaces and orangeries closed and most of the people and tourists left and then we pretty much had the entire place to ourselves to wander and do as we please. And we took our time and I enjoyed the peace and quiet, listening to birds chirp, running water, the rain, and my feet meandering down a path in between 2 rows of large tall trees that covered the path from the rain and at that point, the only thing that could have made that moment better, would have been if I was there holding hands with a man I was in love with. This isn’t just because I’m a romantic either. This place shouted romance in every direction and decided at this point that-

A-    one day I’ll come back here when I’m married and then it really would not be able to get any better.
B-    This is my most favorite place I’ve ever gone to in my life.
C-     this is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen.
D-   & I wondered why on earth anyone would choose to live in Berlin, when Potsdam is only 45 minutes away.

We decided we’d leave. :'( When we got to the bus stop to take us to the train station, it started to rain harder. And by the time we got to the train station, it was pouring. It’s as if it held out for us so we could enjoy that day. Like Heavenly father I needed that quiet time to think and just feel.
This trip has been filled with many experiences, little miracles, and tender mercies that I cannot attribute to anyone but my loving Heavenly Father.

Some of the girls here and I sometimes joke when things work out when they should not have, “It’s cause we went to church this week.” But, really, I know that my Father in Heaven loves me and is watching out for me.

Yesterday I too got to leave Berlin for the day. This time we went to the Venice of Germany: Spreewald. And got to ride in a gondola thing throughout the canals of this darling traditional German town. Spreewald was a part of East Germany during the cold war, it is pickle capital of Germany {or the world… :P}, and their post office is even located on the canal and you have to have a boat to get to it. Everything was so green. SOOO green. There where lots of cute ducks, dragon flies, baby sheep, baby goats, pickles, pickle stuffed animals, pickle key chains, the house {or castle} that a guy who tried to kill Hitler {from the movie valkyre} lived in, and houses and buildings that resembled those in Levinworth, Washington. Going there made me feel better about not being able to go to Venice, Italy. Even though I’m sure they’re very different.

I got to try Snitzel and Spargel with delicious hollandaise sauce yesterday too. Snitzel is breaded and fried veal, and spargel is German white asparagus. It was delicious! Probably the best food I’ve had here so far.

When we got back to Berlin we got another doner. From the best doner kebap shop in Berlin. I can never eat another doner anywere else. They grilled all the veggies and put this special sauce and seasoning on their kebap meat. And toasted this pita type bread and then added zucchini and lettuce and tomatoes and topped it with feta cheese. Mmmm. Delicious. And not terribly expensive either.

QUINTON JAMES- I found out for you how much a whopper costs cause you asked me to. 8.99 euro. Which thanks to my handy dandy conversion ap on my iPod = 11.28 American dollars. I believe that was for the meal. I don’t know, I didn’t buy it. You could get a much better German meal for that much money.

Also, in case anyone wanted to know or was wondering, they sell pregnancy tests and other such things in vending machines here. And they are called the “mayby baby”. Fitting, right? That was an interesting discovery. One that I had to photograph.

And that ends my time in Berlin.

But first, {because the first part of this post was serious and not particularly funny}
I have a funny story for you to imagine. {this will work best if you close your eyes and imagine this as someone else reads it to you. Just an idea….}

This morning we leave the hostel in Berlin, happy as can be to leave this place, hoping like no other that Munich doesn’t smell as bad and that people don’t pee on the side of the road as often as they do here. I have my 26-30 pound back pack on that is the size of Texas, my cute little summer yellow purse, and my camera bag,  attached is a bag of food for the train, and a water bottle. This equals my life’s needs for 2 months. But, then imagine 12 of us with this amount of stuff. Only some of us didn’t pack as “light” as I did. So we make our way to “Hallesches tor" train stop just fine, and even make it on to our first train with no problem. This, my friends, is where the good luck ends.

The next stop, “friedrick strase”, we were at was a lot busier. And the train shows up at the platform already full. And we have to cram 12 people {that take up the space of fifty} into space that would comfortably fit maybe 5. Crazy. I thought for sure we’d just wait for the next one, and then Carsten begins to conquer that train and I run to 3 different train cars to see if I could fit on any. Well, I end up back at the one that everyone is trying to also get on and the doors begin to shut. At this point everyone was crunched in except me and Stacey. She was getting on and Carsten is body slamming the doors to stay open so I can get on even though it doesn’t look like even a mouse would fit. So he’s literally pulling me on while pushing the back of my backpack on the train while my face is literally being squished into the poor people already on the train. The doors keep trying to close and they can close because my dumb backpack is in the way. So the doors are slamming over and over again on my backpack and then I finally make it on the train and I have no where to stand up straight so I’m 100 percent laying on the doors. Luckily we only had 1 stop to get to the hauptbahnhof, or main train station. When the doors to the train opened, because I was laying on them, I literally fell out of the train on to the platform and by some miracle, I caught myself and am unscathed.

And because it was a miracle we ALL made it on to that train, nearly in unison we say “it’s because we went to church on Sunday.” I’m telling you, there are some serious miracles happening.

And then it was relatively smooth sailing to get to the ICE {or up to 250 mile an hour train} headed to Munich. Which is where I am now.

And to answer your question, yes it does smell better here. And we get free dinner at our hostel and it was divine after a more than 5 hour train ride here.

I received a few fantastic emails from Ashleigh the past few days. Of Gemma bear smiling and laughing. It’s so cute! She’s still a doll. Ashleigh said she’s finally starting to fit into the newborn size clothes but now they’re too short for her even though the waist is the right size. I sense she’s going to get her daddy’s height. I’m excited I get to be a part of her life and watch her grow up. Even though I am not there to be an aunt right now, it’s the best!

I’m excited to see Miss Caitlin too. She told me on Skype she wants to go to yogurt land when I get back. :D I told her I'd love to take her. Seriously, once again, being an aunt is my favorite.

In case any of you were wondering, a few things that usually happen every summer are happening very fast. Namely my annual summer freckles over my nose and under my eyes are popping up like they haven't done in a few years and my hair is getting bleached by the sun and is going golden this year instead of red. This is good news. I miss the days of my childhood when i was a freckle faced blonde.

And now that I wrote another novel, I’m going to be done with this post.

Congrats to everyone who finished reading it. You’re truly champions.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

no pictures from spreewald. the internet is even slower here than in berlin. sorry...

The dreams that can't come true

I have these phases I go through. dreaming phases. Not the dreams like I want to go to the moon or I wish I could get an A in an art class type dream.
The dreams you have while sleeping.
I'll go months without a dream. And then boom! I have dreams nearly every night.

Here's how the past year has gone, by memory. {rough}

july-august- Very very regular
september-october- not much
november-present {longest stretch that I can remember}- TONS. Here's the thing though. While I used to love having these dreams, I do not anymore. I wish they'd go away because I just wake up being sad that they can't come true anymore. They include the same people mostly and It's not helping me right now.
Have you ever woken up crying? and you don't remember crying in your sleep? Well folks, I did that for the 2nd time in all my life this morning. The first time was last october {2010}. I remember because it was an awful day in which the dream came to life. Luckily today wasn't awful and nothing happened, but when I first woke up, I was extremely sad and kind of scared.

Since I was little, I've felt like dreams can mean something. I don't think they all do, but some definitely do. I'll share a personal story-

I believe i was 3, My mom had just had a miscarriage {in between Quinton and I} and naturally was having a hard time. Well, {I vaguely remember this but my mom loves this story. as do I So i hear it a lot} Ashleigh and I had the same dream one night about this baby. In the dream, The baby {a boy that to this day i believe to be Quinton} just needed to go back and talk to Heavenly Father one last time before he came to Earth. But that he'd be back and he'd be a part of our family soon. Quinton was born later that year.
You may say that this was all a coincidence, But, I cannot believe this. Ash and I were given that dream for a reason.

Which brings me to my present nightly dreams {i guess they're not every night. but at least 3-4 times a week}. I don't understand why I've been having these specific dreams. Before about a year ago, I've never really dreamed about one thing or subject in particular. They were very random and had very little real life things in them. Until recently I haven't really thought into it too much, but I don't like them anymore.

At the same time though, I don't understand why I'd be having these dreams when I so badly don't want them anymore, if there wasn't some sort of reason.

I have no clue. And, most likely I'll never figure it out. But, I'd love it if I could. That or stop having them so I can actually want to sleep at night.

But, if they went away, I'd probably wish they were back.

Clearly I have been thinking a lot about this.

And as much as I do not want to go to bed, I must because i'm   ex    haust    ed.

What Women Want. {not the movie} + Wedding Bouquet.

I saw this as a comment on a friend's post on Facebook and literally liked it.

"I've decided what women want. Women seem to want contradictory things in a man.

Women want a man who is ambitious, an achiever who is successful both professionally and financially… who’s not materialistic.

Women want a man who is solid, steady, consistent and reliable…. Who is fun, unpredictable and spontaneous.

Women want a strong-willed, decisive man who takes a stand and does not waver… as long as he flexible, open minded, and can admit when he’s wrong.

Women want a realist who is romantic.
A guy who’s serious… but playful.
Who’s confident…but humble.
Who’s horny {i'm changing this to romantic}…but faithful.

Women want a man who’s career driven…but family oriented.
Women want a man who’s smart… but not nerdy.
Caring… but not needy.
Affectionate…. but not clingy.
Protective,… but not possessive.
Emotional…but not neurotic.
Funny…but not a clown
Dominant,…but not domineering
In control…but not controlling."

I don't see the problem....

I feel like the in-between in all of those would = the most perfectly imperfect man.

p.s. Ask me how sad I am to have to go back to school on Monday.

In case you just talked to your computer screen, the answer is "way sad".

p.s.s. {or is this supposed to be p.p.s. ??} because I stalk a lot of photo blogs..... the following should not be weird to you-

I found the future bouquet for my {in the verrry far away future} wedding. I had this idea in my head for about 2 years {please don't ask me why}, but have never seen anyone do it. Kind of made me sad that someone else has done it, but then again happy to know that it really does look pretty beautiful. I'm somewhat leery to post a picture because then all of my  friends {what seems to be about half of them are engaged or will be shortly... weird} will steal my idea of my future bouquet. So I hereby say, "no touchy" because I really want to post a picture{s} of it and don't really want my idea to go "viral" as they say when it is in a youtube video. so, here goes.

i think maybe a few more billy balls in there though, and i want lace wrapped around the stems, not ribbon. but, other than that i love it. Deep deep purple carnations with yellow billy balls. my dream.
don't you think purple and yellow are good colors for a wedding?

well, there's the random "p.s.s." that has absolutely nothing to do with what's going on in my life right now. But none-the-less, it made me happy tonight to find it.

Good Song and Funny yet scary Dream

My apartment watched Anastasia last night. This is the last song in the movie (which is ironic because it's title is "at the beginning"....). I have always liked this song. Super cute. And also I'm a sap.... but you already knew this. So here 'tis.

A few nights ago I had a really bad dream. I can't really remember the last time i had a nightmare. Anyways, i was working in the darkroom and i heard gun shots. So naturally, one would go search for where these sounds were coming from. Okay, a normal person would not. But it was a dream. Nothing is really ever logical in dreams.

So i go out into the work area of the photo lab. And then i saw the gunman. and guess what?? he SHOT me! have you ever died in your dreams before?? I had NOT! and it was so freaky! Well, i woke up and kinda had this weird gasp/ sit straight up in bed thing happen.

So, because as true as my name is Brianna, I analyzed said dream. {i've had a lot of dreams lately that i do this with....} And here are the things i came up with-

  1.  I love the photo lab so much i want to die there one day
  2. the photo lab will be the death of me
  3. I'm searching for death
  4. gunmen don't scare me
  5. i'm really stressed out because of photo and feel like dying when i'm there.
  6. i'd rather die than continue working in the photo lab.
i haven't really figured out which one it is yet... probably #2.

but, if things were easy, they wouldn't be worth it. This is what i tell myself a lot lately. In lots of areas of life.

Do you ever.... 'cause I do.

Do you ever-

miss a certain smell?
because it brings back the memory
of someone/some event?
I do. {Sometimes I feel like
going to a perfume store and finding
one that smells a certain way.}

not do your hair or makeup
because you know you're
not doing anything that day?
I do. like today.

get sad when you're really looking
 forward to something
and then it ends up not working
 the way you wanted?
I do.

get frustrated with yourself for
not saying what's on your
mind because it's scary?
I do.

wish you were someplace else ?
I do.

wish you never had to say bye?
Or are sad when you
don't get a proper goodbye?
I really do.

have days where everything
 you do reminds you
of something else that
makes your mind in a
completely
different place?
I do.

get really happy over
 talking on the
 phone and just
a simple hug?
I do.

wish people were more
honest about things?
I do.

wish you were Braver?
I do.

I'm really sad that I am leaving home tomorrow. This semester has probably been the hardest semester to be away from here.

Thought Thursday +fun too

I'm in the photo lab at this moment. My film is taking a bath for 20 minutes longer and I don't have enough time to start anything new before i have to head to my class.
so that leaves me to blog. And after all, it is Thought Thursday.

In general conference there was a talk titled "Love her Mother" by Sister Dalton

she said, “The most important thing a father can do for his daughter is to love her mother.”

"Within a few weeks our three sons will have given their baby daughters a name and a blessing. I hope this will be the first of many priesthood blessings they receive from their fathers, because in the world in which they will grow up, they will need those blessings. Your daughter will cherish the priesthood and determine in her heart that this is what she wants in her future home and family."

I think this quote is so true. You can read her whole talk here.

In institute yesterday the lesson was all about Christ and women. I've never had a lesson like it before. There are some pretty cool stories that I had heard before, but never have thought about in the same way.

My institute teacher said a few things to the girls in the class that really stood out to me.

The first one was something like- Girls, you base too much of what you think your personal worth is based on what the gentlemen think of you. you have an instinct inside of you that needs a guys attention and love. While the world tells you, you don't need them, you do. Guys-because you know this, make sure you help them feel like the daughters of God that they are. And you guys need the girls just as much as they need you.

self-do i do this? ummm... i think i do? {the whole self worth based on dumb boys}. Not nearly as much as some girls, but this is kind of a natural thing. I feel like I'm confident and I always say "who even needs guys anyway?". Maybe i should not say that anymore....? Let's be honest, i now that's not true. But gee whilackers that would make my life easier right now. *sighs*

Also, the first 2 people that Christ appeared to after he was resurrected were women. I did not ever think of those stories in that way. I thought that was interesting considering he could have appeared to his apostles first.

On Sunday, we got a book all about the Relief Society and all the women in the church are supposed to read it. He read a couple paragraphs from it and it sounds pretty cool. I'll add that to my LONG list of "things to do" list. There's a problem though. For every one item i get crossed off, it seems 3 items are added. It'll work out, it always does.

side note/question- i wish there was an equivalent for the word "guys" in feminine form. Because girl sounds really little, but women sounds like an old lady and young women sounds like high school/puberty age . Boy sounds little, man sounds really old, young man sounds high school... but the male also has the word "guy" to use. Which sounds perfect in a lot of contexts. And granted, the word guy sometimes is a unisex word, there still is not a word equivalent to "guy" for the female personage. plus, sometimes i feel like a male when people refer to me as a "guy". just kidding, i don't. haha Maybe i'll start using the word "gal". My grandma calls me and my girl-friends that all the time. hmm....

Well, my film is done bathing. Now i get to go add "bubble bath" {photo flo}

until next time-- think of me becoming even paler in the darkroom while you all get to go out and have romantic picnics because the weather is near perfect {slightly chilly but who cares if you have someone to keep warm with}. One day I'm going to buy a cute checkered blanket and a wooden picnic basket and am going to sit under a big maple tree and have a picnic with a really attractive guy/man while the leaves fall down on us. Then maybe we'll kiss. And i am soo adding this to my kissing list now. I'm such a hopeless one. haha. :D

My dream and passion- photography

So one thing that i do when i have spare time is blog stalk my favorite photographers. I have a list that is waaay long. I love seeing how much they've accomplished and that a lot of them started out the same way that i have/am. So recently i've been thinking about what i want to do/ where i want to go with my photography. and this is what i have come up with-

I want to own my own studio. But i won't use it everyday and i've wished that there was a studio that would rent time to photographers to use. And then one day, i happened upon this studio that does just that! And thought to myself- self, you should soooo do this! So now, when i start a studio i think i will rent it out. But i'd have to make sure the photographers knew what they were doing and how to work the equipment first..

I want to own a successful portrait business. My favorite type of people photography thus far is weddings. Love them. I would really love for most of my business to be of weddings. Since i was a little girl i have loved to go to wedding receptions and i still do. It's just as fun to be the photographer at one that it is to be a guest there. So it's perfect- wedding photography.

I want to do an internship in either, NYC, Chicago, LA, London, Paris, or somewhere in Italy with a high up fashion photographer. I am really interested in learning more about this style and am going to focus on this in my studio photography class next semester. i want to try it and see if it's something that i would like to do with photography as a career as well. I don't really want to live in the places where a fashion photographer would have to live so i've been thinking that i could maybe be a small business fashion photographer. Like for locally owned clothing companies and businesses.

Also, i'm going to be shadowing a food photographer for Harmons next month and want to see what that is like. Because a lot of times food photographers just do once a month shoots and that would be something pretty cool to learn how to do. Plus, i like to cook and would like to learn how to take better pictures of stuffs i make.

I'm going to be taking a few newborn shoots next week and am also excited about this. i just wish that i had a studio to do these in instead of just manipulating the natural window light. I Love looking at newborn photography. Babies make my heart melt and i really would love to be able to capture them in this way. I have only done two baby shoots, and they have probably been the most challenging shoots i've ever done. By far.

Photography is my passion! I love being able to stop a moment in time. A moment that will never happen again. The passage of time is continuous and unrelenting, and photography stops that moment forever inside my camera.
I fell in love with photography my sophomore year of high school and decided because I loved it so much that I would major in it.

one more, one more. one beeeeeg one.

first off- name that movie.
step one- open journal to find out what's gone on since i blogged last.
step two- decipher hand writing. {i've been writing waaay too late at night and you can tell i was tired because my handwriting isn't as good as it usually is}
step three- find that not too much has gone on.
step four-try to come up with something funny to say.

okay so we'll see how step four goes.

i checked out some apartments around BYU campus. i think i'm staying at home this summer. saving my money so i can go to Europe next summer. here's the cities that the trip i want to take includes- Athens, Corfu, Brindisi, Pompeii, Rome, Florence, Venice, Munich, Prague, Heidelberg, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, French Riviera, Barcelona. and then i'd extend it a couple days and hit England and maybe Ireland.

i want to go SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO BAD!
it is loooking like i will be able to. That is, if i get a part time job in Logan next school year.

so the guy that i was going to buy the car from, is apparently living with his parents for a little while. My dad seems to think they're having some marital problems.... so i'm thinking that i should lay low until he calls me. Not to mention that i have called him like 5 times everyday.... he probably blocked my number or something the likes of that.

i talked to some mississippians at work. And it reminded me of Louisiana. Which reminded me of how much i want some good popeye's chicken. Which made me google where the nearest one is. and it's in Layton. Which is only an hour from here. Which can only mean one thing!- ROADTRIP with Ash! I also need some Crawfish. AND NO! they are NOT called crawdads. pet peeve number 489. jk but seriously.

FHE. we made pizza. Kraig and i made one. And it so did not turn out as planned. we were trying to cook it over some briquette fire. it went out. so we took it into the kitchen and were waiting for the oven to be open..... and it took too long. so we threw it in the wood burning stove. and then after that it was STILL semi doughy. nuff said.
but even so, i tasted delightful after waiting like an hour for it to be done.

and also- I WATCHED TO FIRST EPISODE OF THE BACHELORETTE. which is the only show i follow from season to season. don't judge me okay. when they have their steamy scenes i change the channel.

tuesday i edited lots of wedding pictures. i went through and did my favorites of the day. it was great. you can see a few of them here.

i worked 6-midnight. i had a costumer leave the store before her card went through. and then it was declined. grrrrreat. Not a fun experience. but i had her phone number cause she requested and item. so it turned out okay. but i was sincerely worried that i would get fired over it for about 10 minutes.

wednesday i did my laundry!!!!! it was kind of a miracle on eastwood dr. First time since i moved home. i also watched the finale of ANTM. {america's next top model}. i love watching the photo shoot parts. probably my favorite.

i saw quinton's baseball game. which they won! and then nathan made me a whopper at BK. and hashbrowns for dinner. i have a wonderful brother in law. :D AND CAITLIN IS COMING THIS SATURDAY! {the most adorable niece anyone has ever had. just sayin'} she is getting baptized. :D i'm stoked. Also cause i took the day off.

so i kinda have a predicament. I'm supposed to find a date for the wedding i'm shooting at the end of june. {bride told me i need one}problem #1- i don't know any guy well enough here to ask them on a date. #2 i don't know any gut that'd want to go to an all day wedding. #3 i don't know any guy that wouldn't be bored out of their mind watching me take pictures all day long. #4 let's just say i don't know many guys.....
anyways, i kinda have an idea of who i might possibly could ask?? word of advice- don't listen to your dad's advice when asking for advice on how to ask a guy on a date to a wedding you are photographing. because he might say, "just ask him if he's ever wanted to watch you take pictures all day." yeah dad, because every guy has wondered what it's like to watch me take pictures all day. I'm pretty sure that i'm not going to ask someone this way. correction, i KNOW i will not ask someone this way.
although, when i'm at a point in a relationship with a guy he's going to have to come to an all day wedding shoot with me. It'll be a test. 'Cause it won't be the last one he'd ever have to go to. But as a first date..... i'm not so sure. he'll probably run in the opposite direction. p.s. if the wedding is on the 25th of june, how early should i ask someone??? man, i need advice from Betsy and Melissa. Can someone fly me on the next flight from provo to Logan?? THANKS!

i hung out with betsy's mom. :D it made Betsy jealous. She talks about as much as my mom does.
then i hung out with becky on Friday. we went to my ward dance. which was country swing! but i was kinda bummed out cause i was missing my Logan Country swing dances when all the guys are pretty much pro at country swing. Anyways, we watched kung fu panda at Betsy's house. it is beyond weird that i was there and betsy wasn't.

saturday i didn't do much besides work. it was ridiculously busy. i didn't get off till 12:30. 30 minutes after i was supposed to! grrr.

and then i came home and got to bed after 1. and was up at 7:45 for church. I love my singles ward! everyone is so friendly. LOVE IT!
anyways, i can't wait till thursday. i hope the presents i'm sending in the mail will get to Betsy in time for her birthday! :D
loves and hugs.
here's my to do list for this week- befriend a cowboy, buy a car, blog once more, finish editing pictures of my 5th wedding shoot.

tata for now. loves and hugs, stop drop and roll, look both ways, if you can't be good then be good at it, remember who you are and don't let that getcha down, etc.

and here are a few pictures from places i might go next summer-

i can't wait for-

I cannot wait for so many things to happen. here are the ones that i've been thinking of recently

i cannot wait until i have a successful photography studio and business of all my own. I cannot wait because then i will never have to work a high school/college kid type job again. I cannot wait to do what i love every day of my life. And this, my friends, is the beauty of following your dreams and majoring in what you love.

I cannot wait till i get a baby niece. I just want to hug and kiss and snuggle and love her and just AH! i just want a baby of my sisters. {not own} i so do not want a baby at this point in my life. One day though

I cannot wait until i can buy a car. how convenient it will be to not have to ask to borrow the family van, or to get a ride from friends.

i cannot wait to take my studio photography class. To learn more about lighting and to shoot more people and {better} gain my own style.

{sounds cheesy to some} I cannot wait to fall in love. I've always been a bit of a hopeless romantic and this is something that has always appealed to me. Love. Sounds so wonderful and so perfect. i really don't want to hurry into anything because i've loved being a single college girl but someday, i can't wait.

I cannot wait to have my own house. To sign my name on the paper and to live in it, decorate it to cook in it, and to raise my kids in it.
so i like looking at floor plans and house designs. i love it. and i found these beauties-

basically i love farm looking houses and large wrap around porches. forget the stucco. and shutters are good too. :D

and also, i can't wait for my second year of college to start.
I can't wait for the future. it's going to be great!
